The third installation of After Hours takes place at the Seraphin Gallery in Center City, Philadelphia. Vocalist Chelsea Reed and pianist Silas Irvine present a swinging show drawing upon the influence of artists such as Bessie Smith, Fats Waller, Louis Armstrong and Billie Holiday.
Meetup & Pre-Concert Discussion 6-7pm: In collabaoration with the Philadelphia DIY Collaborative, vocalist Chelsea Reed and pianist Silas Irvine will present a FREE interactive discussion on what jazz means to them and the music they will be performing later in the evening. Registration recommended as space is limited. Registration for the meetup and pre-concert discussion does not include admission to the performance.
